About Me!
My name is Joanna and I'm a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!) studying Marine Science and Environmental Earth Science. I'm part of the Department of Earth & Planetary Science and Integrative Biology.

That's me trying to wrangle Atlantic salmon in the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology's Aquaculture Research Center!
I'm an aspiring Fish Evolutionary Ecologist! I’m interested in how the changing physical, chemical, and biological environment shapes fish physiology, distribution and behavior, and predator-prey interactions.

Currently, I conduct research in fish evolutionary morphology, ecology, and energetics! I have past research experience in improving Atlantic salmon Recirculating Aquaculture Systems.
